Rachael Kim
Rachael Kim is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (BA. Mus. Perf. 2000). She currently
performs regularly in a number of ensembles throughout Melbourne comprising of a diverse range of styles.
She is a founding member of the Abraxas Piano Trio, which specialises in the performance of 20th century works.
The ensemble has been awarded numerous prizes including the Athaneum Award, MICMC
Encouragement Award, scholarship for study at the Sidney Nolan Artists Retreat, as well as conducting
masterclasses in Europe and Asia. Rachael has also performed with numerous orchestras, including the
Cologne Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble and the Australian Pops Orchestra in Melbourne.
