Croque Monsieur is a 10 year-running collaboration between six musicians playing accordion trombone, violin, drums, double bass

and clarinet. Since its induction Croque Monsieur has performed at a extensive variety of venues including public performances,

private functions and festival arenas. The band began as a street ensemblein 2000 and continues to perform on the streets as a well

Musically, the band has researched and performed the music of a variety of cultures including Balkan, Calypso, Dixieland, Mexican,

Tango, Klezmer, Tarantella, 1960s film soundtracks, Arabic and Latin music. The result of this research is a unique musical style

that is flavoured by all of these influences and a set list of mainly original material. The flexibilty of Croque

Monsieur's musicality is a key factor in audience appreciation of the group

Croque Monsieur has been hired as stage and roving musicians in many festivals including the St Kilda Festival, High Vibes,

Big West in Footscray, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Brunswick Music Festival, Tumbafest, Moomba Waterfest, Brisbane

Festival and twice for The Melbourne International Arts Festival.
